International Permaculture Services
offer courses and consultancy services in all aspects of Permaculture and EcoVillage Design to a range of people, communities and organizations in Australia and the developing world. We work with local communities, non-government organisations, international companies and governments in sustainable environmental development.The consultancy services include community programmes that can deliver outcomes of financial security, health and nutrition, improved sanitation, environmental awareness, and independence through the Permaculture education. We create sustainable, self-sufficient, agricultural systems that are ecologically sound and economically viable. Examples of such programmes include establishment of tree nurseries, sustainable forestry practices, food security systems and seed banks. Other important work such as earth restoration is achieved through implementing landcare practices such as erosion control and water harvesting to rehabilitating degraded landscapes.

CORPORATE RESPONSIBILITY
We invite companies to contact IPS to assist companies to meet their corporate social and environmental responsibilities where their operations are impacting on the local communities and environment. The solution to the problem is teaching people design and educating them so they can solve problems in a sustainable way that have a positive long term effect on the wider community.As part of our Corporate responsibility we are using part profits from our Permaculture Courses and other services to set up a Permaculture Research and Training Farms in Ghana and one in South East Asia. We believe Permaculture Systems and training has some of the answers to provide solutions to global problems of poverty hunger and deforestation and global warming. We have proven on the ground Permaculture Systems that have a significant impact on local communities to gain independence for food security, improved nutrient and health and long tern independence in livelihoods systems.
The Tree Nursery in Ghana that was established by IPS has given away thousands of indigenous trees to the locals school and community groups each month to help the local groups and the environment for the people.
MEETING TRAINING NEEDS
International Permaculture Services specializes in the deliver of innovative training programs to rural and urban communities in Australia and the developing world. The company’s Permaculture Design Certificate Course is registered with the Australia Permaculture Institute and supported by the founder of the permaculture movement Bill Mollison.WORKING IN PARTNERSHIP
International Permaculture Services seeks to support and teach communities and individuals permaculture systems that suit their local environments. Through the course individuals become teachers and designers of permaculture systems that fit their own culture, economy and ecology. The company is available to train individuals and communities in permaculture design anywhere in the world.International Permaculture Services also works to encourage and assist communities to establish their own seed banks and can work with communities to rehabilitate mine sites or establish sustainable forestry and food security systems.
